Mexican Esquites
Esquites are a classic Mexican street food made with tender corn kernels cooked in a flavorful broth and topped with creamy, tangy and spicy ingredients. Traditionally served in cups by street vendors across Mexico, this dish is the off-the-cob version of elite and delivers a perfect balance of richness, heat and brightness in every bit.

Ingredients:

3 cups Corn Kernels
½ White Onion (finely chopped)
2 cloves Garlic (finely chopped)
1.5 tbsp Butter
Salt (to taste)
Epazote (optional)
2.5 cups Water
Toppings:
¼ cup Cotija Cheese
¼ cup Sour Cream
¼ cup Mayo
Lime Juice (to taste)
Cilantro (Chopped, to taste)
Sabor a Mexico Salsa (your choice)
Instructions:
Add butter, onion and garlic to frying pan and cook until translucent.
Mix in corn kernels and cook for 5 minutes over medium heat.
Add water, epazote, and salt and boil for 20 minutes.
Drain water using a strainer. Serve corn in cups, adding the toppings that you would like, and mixing well. Make sure to serve hot!
